I just had a tonsillectomy and my scheduled date to go back to school was today but during my recovery, it hemorrhaged and i had to get a second surgery last Monday. my return to school date did not get changed but my throat is still sore from he second surgery so my mom doesn't want me going back to school tomorrow. I want to go but she insists that i don't.

I wouldn't go, it takes the normal child 10 days to recover, teen maybe 2 weeks, adult 2+ weeks tops, and since you hemorrhaged you really shouldnt be doing much of anything. The tonsils are near some major arteries, so over doing yourself could cause another hemorrhage.
