When I search for emails sent and received the system appears unable to find the more recent ones, only older. I can find them onlymanually?

The problem does not appear in the FAQ's on the hyperlinked list and it is not clear how to use this for "contact" purposes. What needs to be fixed is to restore the Search function to how it operated previously, i.e. 100%, both in normal searches and when using Advanced, to include both older and recent emails
