How should I start my college? Community or university?

I'm planning to go to the animation industry, so where should I go immediately after high school?

I could go to a community college and get my GED (though I have some AP credits already) and some art skills polished (I didn't take any art classes in high school, but I can draw and such), and then transfer out.

My second choice is to go to a university and start with Graphic Design. I don't know how graphic design can help, but that's my only option now.

    It i almost impossible to get into a university with a GED so your best bet is to start in a community college.

    Any college that will take you without a GED or high school diploma is not a college worth attending. Get your GED first. Then take some college courses at your community college.
