Is it safe for canaries to drink out of these?
I am getting a canary in a week or two. Are these waterers safe for canaries?

These bottles are made for animals to drink from.
The lick the ball bearing covering the hole where water comes out.
A bird cages come with food and water cups for birds to drink from.
No don't try bottles for birds.

No it is not safe. First of all this device is not easy to clean, bacteria trap. Birds naturally drink out of a bowl (or puddle), they can't "suck" as easy as rodents for example for which this dispenser is made.
I do hop you don't keep your birds in a cage all the time!

Yes they can drink from those. I have on myself and I have been using it with my bird for 15 years! As long as u let them know that their is water in it, they will figure it out! Good luck

If its not too big they can drink from it. But i think you should still have a small water bowl just in case they cant figure out how to use it.

I have a black-capped conure that dips his pellets in his water making it a gross oatmeal. After changing it a dozen times a day, I got him one of these, it works great!

I would get your bird a normal water bowl. He/she probably would have no idea that this would give it water! Good luck :)

I have never seen a bird drink from one of these. I'm not sure that they will.
