All it would take is for him to get the nomination. Or, before that, to be on the ballot in my state's primary.

I'm looking for someone with at least moderate political experience. That rules out Carson, Fiorina, and Trump.

I'm looking for someone who doesn't ooze nastiness. That rules out Trump and Cruz.

I'm looking for someone who isn't ethically challenged. That rules out Clinton and maybe (unfortunately, because I like him) Christie.

I'd prefer someone with executive, not just legislative, experience. That could rule out Cruz, Rubio, Clinton, Santorum, Paul, and all those with no political experience (Trump, Fiorina, Carson).

I want someone with a clear (and, frankly, better) vision for America. Someone who isn't overly tied with the establishment and establishment issues. That can rule out Clinton, Trump (problem is, he's lacking in details), and Bush.

So, who's left standing? Among the Democrats: Sanders and O'Malley. Among the Republicans: Kasich, Christie (maybe), Gilmore, Santorum, Huckabee, and Paul (maybe). Of those, Santorum, Gilmore, and Huckabee are too conservative for me.

That leaves Sanders, O'Malley, Kasich, Christie (maybe), and Paul. Christie troubles me with his outbursts. Honestly, I like Paul and Kasich and could vote for either of them against Clinton. O'Malley's coming across as a lightweight.

    And that leaves Sanders.

    Political experience? Check.

    Doesn't ooze nastiness? Check.

    Not ethically challenged? Check.

    Executive experience? Check.

Fresh vision for America; not tied to old interests? Check.

That's why I could (and hope to) vote for Bernie Sanders.

Since the NET tax rate for corporations in america is really around 14% we have some of the lowest tax rates in the world then you add the 15% capital gains tax and it's almost ridiculous what the wealthy get away with in this country. And in the same breath complaining about how high taxes are here. That seems too be the biggest complaint about bernie, and even with all the facts by the IRS available people still listen too the propaganda about how high taxes are here. Look at your effective tax rate on your tax sheet, tell me you actually pay exactly what it asks for. Get a good tax accountant I bet you even pay less. So take the fact away taxes are not even close too being too high, and just what bernie stands for and what he want's too accomplish. Is he then worth a listen. Yea I think so. SERIOUSLY look up NET taxes, not the 45% number you see posted everywhere.

Bernie Sanders is not even a real candidate. The democrats have nothing else though. That's how pathetic they've become.

Bernie is not going to win a general election. He is a socialist Jew. Gore couldn't even get elected and he wasn't anywhere near as radical. If you really want Trump to be president then by all means get Bernie nominated.

If Bernie gets the Democratic Party's nomination I will vote for him

But I'm voting for Hillary in the Primary--since the cons HATE her SO much, I figure she must have something going for her

Bernie Sanders is a SOCIALIST. I would never vote for him and never will. Socialism destroys the economy. Read "The Conscience of a Conservative" by Barry Goldwater; it will open your eyes.

Donald Trump as the GOP candidate and Sanders the Democrat. That is the ONLY way I would vote for Sanders.

For me to vote for Sanders, he would have to promise to do the exact opposite of every (economic) policy that he proposed..

Ideally, I'd like an Opt-out to social security & dramatically reduced taxes.. Whoever can promise those 2 things will surely get my vote..

I'm already a Sanders man and will support him for as long as he's running.
