Why do Christians in the US down on Muslims and Sharia when many of them advocate for American laws being based on the Bible?
That's still a religious system of laws. Given some of the laws in the Bible, I don't see how one is much better than another.

All law in the west is based on the Bible. The secular laws we take for granted are based on the 10 commandments because they make sense and are for the good of all.
Sharia Law is a dictatorship where we are obliged to follow Islamic law praying 5 times a day, not allowing Muslim women to marry non Muslims, not allowing freedom of worship, Non Muslims paying Mafiosi protection money to Muslims etc. This isn't for the Benefit of all but to propagate Islam and favor a religious group.

They want even more special status. But there is nothing good in the Bible. All lies and myths.

Because Christians in the US generally want special privileges that no one else gets.
