Music will play fine on the CD, but won t upload right to iTunes. Solutions?

Trying to upload an album to my iTunes, but, when I do, the upload process will just freeze, or if it does upload the music sounds scratched. But the CD will play just fine on my CD player. I remember reading something about how this was a security measure in the early 2000s (the CD s from 02) to prevent music piracy. Does anyone know how to get around this problem?

I generally find iTunes very hit and miss at ripping CD s.

One way around is to download "Exact Audio Copy", to rip the CD s onto your computer either as WAV (no audio quality loss) or MP3.

Once this is done, go into iTunes click FILE then IMPORT FOLDER TO LIBRARY, navigate to where you wanted Exact Audio Copy to rip the music to then click "Select Folder". All of the songs will now import into iTunes, and hopefully should play correctly.
