Perm on bleached hair?

I have LONG (past my butt) bleach blonde hair. I have been to 2 different hair stylists asking for a perm. One (the one I went to for a while) turned me down before she even saw my hair. The second agreed to do a strand test and said that many stylists might turn me down simply because my hair is so long. The ends of my hair (bottom 5" probably) have been dyed blonde twice. Everything else only once as my roots grew out. I also have 4" of my natural hair growing out which is light blonde but not bleached. It s been growing for 5 months. I want to get my hair permed so bad and I m willing to lose a little length for it.

When the strand test was done on the end my hair turned to mush but the girl said she could still do the perm since the rest of my hair is so healthy and the dead part would simply go to mush and be washed out. If I lost even 10" I wouldn t be that mad. Should I risk it or wait a few more years for my hair to grow out more?

    Cut your hair!!!!

    1. Cutting the dead ends off makes your hair healthier, and makes it grow faster.

    2. Short, blunt cuts are totally the new style!!!

    3. Perms are hot too :)))))) get it before they aren't anymore

    4. Hair grows back and perms can be undone

Hmm... no. I wouldn't risk it.
