    I fail to see what knives have to do with Paul's letter. Yes, he used a sword as a metaphor in other things he wrote, but not here.

    Two different purposes. Scimitar isn't for butchering cattle or cutting up meat in controlled conditions. It's a war weapon that kills by slicing humans.

    Butcher knives are designed to be held and operated with fine control on meat, bone and joints. The blade is the correct thickness for the job of close work on a table in front of you.
