I cannot get a deep sleep when I workout. Why, am I over working myself?

I've always had sleeping problems. But its the worst kind of sleep I get after I workout. The feeling like you're barley asleep and it just feels dirty.

So am I really over working myself??? I only did 3 sets of 10 push ups and 40 situps... I've worked out harder than that before but I am no where near a gym.

Always dirty sleep regardless. So I find it weird after workingout less and still over working myself!!??

What supplements are you taking and when are you working out?

Almost everything you buy at Wal-Mart banks on the idea that you'll think you have superpoweers, workout more, lose weight, and then credit the pills as the miracle drug. When all they had was caffeine and you finally got up to do something. So that caffeine or other stimulants could do it. Working out right before bed of course could keep you awake.

We know about sleep and muscle repair from one key study that showed people spend more time in slow-wave sleep after they workout. Which means that's when muscle repair happens. Sleep should feel great after a workout. You literally have a new body and brain. Your muscles grew and your brain sent a new router to the new muscles to make a connection. That sounds refreshing, not dirty.

Barring some other medical condition, I'm thinking you're just doing it too soon before bed or taking something.

If you're working out within a few hours of bedtime it can effect your sleep. Kinda like how caffeine messes you up at night so can exercise. I like to work out in the morning.
