Wow! What universe are we talking about? Christians that "bully" people that are not reading the Bible daily? And they do it? Imagine an inverted North Korea where everyone is forced to read the Bible as opposed to the real North Korea in which reading the Bible is a death sentence.

On the off chance that you have exaggerated a bit because you have a sense of guilt that you are not reading your Bible but others may "hound you" to do so, here is what is the purpose and advantage of studying God's Word:

"I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." (Psalm 119:11)

"For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)

"As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:10-11)

"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." (Psalm 119:105)

Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" (Matthew 4:4)

The Bible is a source of wisdom, solace, comfort, and how we come to understand God and His will for our lives. Why would you not want to have that play a large role in your life? As such, many people find that reading the Bible daily is as Jesus stated: something that is more important than food.

Jesus forgives all sinners if we accept Him as our saviour and repent (change our minds/thinking), and continue to do GOOD deeds and thoughts in our lives. The fruits of the spirit will answer this question.

Galatians 5:22-23 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

If a Christian bullies you into reading they have no gentleness nor joy nor self-control. Jesus is a forgiving God. As true Christians we follow his instructions as is written in the Holy Bible.

But try to read the bible in your own time (mainly to be educated in God's Holy Word) but don't be bullied into it.

Bully tactics are of the Devil and religious groups like the Pharisees or Saducess. If you look at the above fruits of the Spirit, maybe you should avoid those bully Christians and seek a church which has signs of love, patience, gentleness and self-control. They should be caring, patient and respect your choice. Remember God gave us a free will.

    I leave you with this:

    Mathew 7:21

"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."

God's will is for us to be like Jesus Christ. Basically God wants kind, loving, good hearted people in Heaven. Not bullies, not trouble makers, nor people who manipulate others or bullies who disrespect other's.

    Peace.

Love does not FORCE, not Christian.

    I perpetually ask questions.

Tell me about what you read today.

    Tell me yesterday.

    What did you learn?

Now it takes about 5 minutes to read and it would help you,

and get rid of these ppl.

    How often?

Easy to let go of spiritual things.

IF you do OTHER things, talk about those.

I quietly say...what works for me is....

I also TELL THEM...you are a bully, and

    that is not Christian.

I'm not bullied. But there will be some...

Entirely and utterly unchristian and the reason Christianity has been split into over 39,500 different denominations, sects and cults setting Christian against Christian and Christians against everyone else!

    God's work? Hardly!

It must be the Devil and the Antichrist working together to divide, conquer and destroy Christianity from the inside!

i would say that it is not for you to judge me whether or not i read the Bible daily. however i do i read 85 verses a day. The commandment to study to show yourself approved of God a workman that needs not to be ashamed rightly diving the word of truth 2 Timothy 2:15 as for them condemning me if i read not the Bible i say to them judge not, that you be not judged. for with what judgment you judge, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. Matthew 7:1,2. Thanks for the question friend. God bless.

I usually say something like "Your delusions are not my delusions. Mind your own business".
