How come I don't have a "Top Contributor Badge?
I lurk the basketball section. And have seen 3 different knob heads with it but never post logical answers. They're always stupid and they lack a vision in reality. One of them thinks Lebron James playing Powerforward or Smallforward is the difference between him winning and losing championships. Lol retard.

Rofl are you talking about Neil? He mentions that in every question regarding Lebron lmao. He does make some valid points though apart from that.
I have had the Top Contributor Badge quite often...my guess is you are not posting enough answers since every time I decreased my activity on Yahoo Answers I lost the badge very quickly.
Yahoo doesn't reveal what the requirements are but the common assumption is that you need to have a certain number of best answers in a section over a week aswell as mininum threshold of answers.
It is kinda meaningless though as it doesn't say anything about the quality of your answers, I got it like 3 years ago for the first time when I used to troll the Lebron and Kobe fanboys here.

You have to have the most best answers in that section. The people who get top contributor badges spend all day and years here.
