Do you appreciate all genres of music (ex. Rock, metal, rap, hip-hop, classical, gospel, etc)?

Nope. There are several music genres that I do not appreciate whatsoever.

Not every single genre in existence, but I do have a really varied music taste. Excluding gospel, I enjoy every genre you listed. I also just listened to David Bowie and The Prodigy back to back.

I can appreciate music of any genre but i'm not about to go buy it. I'm a rock guy, in just about all its incarnations, and while I can hear a particularly good (in my opinion) country, gospel, classical, opera, etc... song and say "whoa, thats great", I'm damn unlikely to buy it or go see that performer in concert.

Yes. I go from punk rock to political hip hop. Country to ska. Bubblegum pop to blues. Jazz to funk. Folk to classical. Etc. Etc.

No, I can't stand the pop music of today! It's all the same! But I'm fine with most of the other genres, as long as you don't play a pop song for me.

Pretty much, with the sole exception of opera; or anything involving a so-called "trained" voice. Make me want to poke my eardrums out with blunt rusty screwdrivers.

No offence intended to those who dedicate their lives to honing that skill, but that ofr me is "fingernails down a blackboard" (a sound I could happily withstand all day long, ironically enough!).

Based on what seems to be approximately 1,234 genres thrown around here, I appreciate perhaps ten.

Yes. It gives me the ability to expand my play lists and discover something new. I give everything a chance.
