Many Republicans don't want abortion but want death penalty, many democrats don't want death penalty but want abortion?wtf?

It boils down to hypocrisy and pandering for votes. Both sides fail on this one.

Don't know why so many people have such a hard time understanding that pregnancy isn't about the fetus.

As in, the fetus isn't a person.

The person who is pregnant with it, IS.

They have rights.

They have a life.

They have priorities.

Sometimes, that little fetus simply isn't a priority.

Abortion isn't the death penalty.

Abortion isn't murder.

A fetus is not aware, is no more capable of being innocent than guilty, and no one gets an abortion to punish a fetus.

The fight over abortion has never been about babies. It has always been about control over women. It’s not a fight about choice; we make all kinds of choices that aren’t under assault. The choice to get an abortion is under assault because that has everything to do about whether women will be able to control their lives. The so-called “pro-life” people are pushing not only to deprive women of abortions but also the right to birth control. By having control over their reproduction women have been able to leave the roll of being completely subordinate to men and treated as breeders of children.

Forcing women to have children against their will is a form of enslavement. You can’t emancipate humanity if you don’t break the chains on women. You can’t break the chains on women unless you uphold unapologetically the right for women to decide for themselves when and whether to have a child.

Your questioning the Republican position is insane. HOW...HOW can you compare innocent live with a penalty for murderers? HOW can you see ANY contradiction here, whatsoever.

The Democrat position, however, is indeed ludicrous. How can one be concerned about the lives of vicious murderers and not be care about the lives of the innocent (or to deny that it's even a life)? That is hypocrisy at its finest.

Nuts isn't it, I say kill them while they are young and kill them if they are violent. Stay consistent anyways.
