Future careers ? I'd like to work with women who have postpartum depression ? Or even own my own mother and baby unit for them
I have a few questions...
1. How would I own a mother and baby unit
2. What would I need to study in college and university
3. How many years before I'd even get a job working with these people

The length and type of education you get depends on *how* you want to "work with" them.
Psychiatrists are physicians. They do undergrad, 4 years of med school, and then a 4 year residency. If there is a fellowship in this field, it would be another year. Residency and fellowship are paid.
You would need to figure out what you want as a "unit". PPD is usually treated outpatient. If a patient needs hospitalization, they go to a psychiatric hospital. Maybe a halfway house situation would work? You would need to investigate how this would work in whatever state you settle in. You would need a large home in a quiet area. You would need a nursery in another wing or another building. You would need a nursery staff with a nurse along with the staff for the mothers, including a psychiatrist, CNAs, LPNs, and nurses. You would also need therapists of a wide variety to help with activities, group sessions, etc. You would need someone to handle records, billing, coding, and admin. You need janitorial for both buildings, kitchen help for at least the nursery, landscapers, etc.
Good Luck
