Considering you didn't mention where you were, we can't really help very much. There are many "smaller" chains that make the nationwide chains look like going to a steak house versus going to a McDonalds. IE: In Southern Nevada and down into southern California, there is a small chain called "Robertos" that is REAL Mexican food fast rather than the Taco Bell type of mass produced slop.
