router problem when linux machine is on?

I just installed linux 17.3 and everything went well. Gets on the web through Belkin n300 wirelessly. The problem that I an having is that when linux machine is on, the windows machines that are on the same router will not connect to the internet. It shows no internet connection. When I turn linux machine off, they connect. Does anyone know why? And how to resolve issue?

You have a badly misconfigured Linux system if that is happening. As a "client" it should behave just like the windows machines. It it is blocking the system it has errors in the network settings.

Did you set it to get a dhcp address or did you set a static address? It should get (just like the windows machines) a DHCP address from the router. You may also have an incorrect wifi driver for the card you are using.
