Having trouble coming up with job references?
I can't ask any previous employers since I have never held a job before, and I'm apprehensive about asking my former professors since I never really put myself out there in my classes for them to know my name and face (I was that painfully shy kid who sits at the back of the classroom and doesn't talk ever).
And while I've done volunteer work, I can't really ask previous volunteer supervisors for references since I either 1) don't have their contact information or 2) they probably don't remember me or know who I am since I didn't really do anything outstanding or worth noticing other than just doing what I'm supposed to do.

Volunteer your time somewhere. Wait a month or so and ask for a letter of reference. Or, solicit job references from people online. Summit an ad on Craigslist.

there are 2 types of references: (1) professional, like Pastor, teacher, former employer, etc and (2) personal, like friends of your folks, a neighbor, etc that can vouch for your character

You have to find some family friends who will vouch for you, as personal references since you have no work references
