I find it incredible that the judge said that jail would "undo the good work he had done in the past year undergoing extensive counselling". That really does show what privilege can buy you.
It is hardly surprising that it isn't a bigger news story. It doesn't fit with the current media focus.

NSPCC last year reckoned two people a day are done on child porn distribution charges, these kinds of offences are seldom all over the news. They get covered but not to the extent that happens when a rape gang gets convicted. Of course there are people on the Web who are only interested in such offences when they can use them to promote their unpopular, failed brand of politics but that's no reason for your thinking to go so lax.

Well as Shadowdrone clearly does not care less about the victims as he thinks it ok for them to be beaten up by their own families, who cares what their opinion is?
