What is the FSR2 program?

I know the army uses it to help you select a job at MEPS but could someone please go into greater detail with what its is? Or possibly a source where I could find out more about it? It doesn't really come up when I search on the army's website.

It doesn't come up because it is a recruiter tool that recruiters use to reserve jobs for applicants before they go to MEPS to enlist. Since recruiters are the only ones that use it, there is no reason for the Army website to go into too much detail about it.

What you need to know I'd that it reserves jobs based on what is currently available and secures that job unless something happens when you get to MEPS that makes you no longer eligible for that job. An example of that would be taking the eye exam and your vision being too bad for the MOS you have reserved, meaning that you have to pick another one.
