    Let log be log to base 6

    log 18 - log 3 = log [ 18/3 ] = log 6 = 1

    18 = 6*3

    Log(ab) = Log(a) + log(b)

    and...log(m) - log(n) = log(m/n)

    Use these and you end up with:

    => [ Log6(3) + log6(6)] - log6(3)

    => log6(6)

    => 1

    log(6) 18 - log(6)3 =>

    log(6) [18/3] =>

    log(6) [6] = >

    = '1'
