My class hasn't gotten to integrals yet so if you could explain it in a way that I will understand that would be awesome...
"In a free-fall experiment, an object is dropped from a height of 144 feet. A camera on the ground 500 ft from the point of impact records the fall of the object (see figure). (Assume that the acceleration due to gravity is
32 ft/sec2
downward.)"
No clue where to even start and I don't find my textbook helpful.

just wondering. like can you tell them you don't like a certain instructor? because i got a guy with a really sour attitude and i'd rather not get him again. i failed (i was driving very poorly on my test even though i'm a pretty good driver otherwise... i think it was nerves) but he definitely wasn't helping with the nerves. just curious lol
1 AnswerInsurance & Registration8 years agoMy cats keep disappearing?
so, i've had at least one cat (maybe two... haven't seen her in a couple days) and 5 kittens go missing over the course of the past 4 months. one of the kittens that went missing returned 3 days later with a broken leg so we thought maybe it was hawks taking off with them because hawks apparently drop their prey from high heights to kill them and maybe that one survived and managed to get away. the thing is we never had cats/kittens just go missing like this. i live in central ohio, so would anyone know of any predators that could be picking them off. for the first few, we thought it was coyotes eating them, but why would a coyote only break the leg of a kitten (+ how could it get away anyhow if it was a coyote attack??)
i would love to know what you guys think because my best guess is hawks, even though we've always had them around with no problem until this year.
ps, they are outdoor cats because my parents wont allow indoor cats. also, i live in a rural county if that means anything....
3 AnswersCats8 years agoHow to get my cats to stop sh*tting on the grass?
what makes them do that and what ways can you stop it? i've always had cats and never had this problem until this year. usually they find lose dirt to take a sh*t in but nope, this ones doing it in the grass. i'm talking about grass only, so don't give me advice about when they do it in the garden because it's not doing it there. thanks in advance!
