How people in Ukraine use hot water, by electrical heating? or gas ? or solar?

We use it as anyone else: wash hands, wash dishes, take a shower and so on.

Maybe you mean how do we heat water? In cities there is centralized hot water supply. Somewhere far away are heat factories which heat water and by long underground pipes supply it to houses. It is very wasteful, lot of energy loses, we got it as the Soviet Union legacy. Many users install electric boilers and heat water there. I live in rural area and have a natural gas water heater which I connected in series to the electric boiler. Someone heats water with firewood or coal boilers. Solar energy isn't popular here because it's expensive and too few solar radiation in winter.

Is there any government subsidies for solar water heater promotion in Ukraine? But we see Himin solar export water heater there.
