If an interviewer asks why you want the job but you used to work there?
So I used to work at Sainsburys (supermarket if anyone doesn t know) and I left because I got my dream job pursuing a career in mental health. However it is BANK work so I sometimes struggle to get shifts so Ive applied for a part time job at sainsburys on the checkouts again. I have an interview on Tuesday. I was at sainsburys for 2 years. I m worried they re going to ask me why I would like the job (they most probably will) so do you guys have any suggestions on what I could say please? Thank you x

Tell them you are looking for part-time work because you want more income. I would tell them you worked there before and liked working there and thought since you are trained, it would work out nicely for both you and Sainsburys. You will also have to work out when you will work and when you can't. They probably will not like that you don't have a set schedule because you know when you are scheduled at Sainsburys, they will expect you to be there and so will your other job. But do what you have to do to survive. I found a lot of peace of mind when I had two part-time jobs instead of one demanding job.
