What does this interference on HF sound like? I have ruled out everything in the house. http://vocaroo.com/i/s0QX5FgxleZX?

Interference on HF gets better as I increase frequency but is still apparant on 10 meters. This was recorded on 14.070MHZ USB.

The interference is all over the Bands but it is particularly strong on certain frequencies including this one Peaking + S9 on the signal metre.

It is there most of the time but occasionally disappears completely sometimes for a whole day or sometimes just for half a day. It has been there for about 1 and a half weeks now and before this I had no obvious interference on any of the HF bands.

I know it could be someone s plasma TV but I am disinclined to believe this now as the times of day it is there very so much, sometimes even in the middle of the night.

Update:

I said its on the whole HF 0-30Mhz

Some medical equipment uses 14 Mc to treat pain, possible coming from your neighbor.

Check the power line with scope that able to see at least 20Mc type. Perhaps this 14Mc comes through line.

Street power transformer or joints sparking also can jam most RF frequencies nearby. Take a portable AM radio walking around to locate the source.

So far even you locate the trouble source but no way to avoid it , either you move away from that area or stop using that ham band.
