If I wash my shorts will the puffy paint come off?

I used some puffy paint to paint splatter my shorts for a concert, and I need to wash them. Will the puffy paint come off if I wash them in the washer?

    The puffy paint will not come off in the wash as long as it has been dryed for at least six hours.

    Wash inside out with cold water and line dry for best lasting of the puff paint. It will last even longer if you sink wash with Woolite hand wash soap and line dry.

    Why must you insist on a washer when there are other forms of washing clothing?!?
