Why is the voltage in each branch the same in a parallel circuit?
Thanks

One of the best ways to visualize electricity is to think of it as flowing water. In any electrical circuit, electricity is flowing from a certain height--->down to ground level. In a parallel circuit, there are two or more different paths to ground, but all of these paths start at the same level above ground. Therefore they all have the same voltage from start to ground, just as flowing water would that had many different paths to get to ground, but all starting at the same height(Voltage).
Cheers.
