Jack Dempsey showing early aggression to Oscar should I bother adding them?
I'm acclimating my Oscar into my 110g that currently has my female jack Dempsey in it. The jack is circling the bag and nipping at the bag and then retreating doing this almost constantly. They are about the same size at 3 and a half inches. The Oscar is a little smaller. Should I not bother adding the Oscar? I took care to pick out the least aggressive they had.

Oscars are actually fairly peaceful with fish that are the same size or larger, and are usually the ones that get picked on by more aggressive fish.
Try removing the jack and rearranging the decorations, then re-add both fish at the same time.
