Probably not since Shakespeare is considered one of the greatest authors in history. But it's not promoting racism and it's showing life how it was back in "the day." If every novel that hinted at racism or sexism was banned, then we would be ignorant of the past and therefore ignorant heading towards the future.

Firstly Shakespeare didn't write novels and a band is something you play in so if you are going to pretend that you know something about Shakespeare and his writing you first need to learn something about him.

Yes. Every time you are given one to read, stick your fingers in your ears and go "lalalalalala I cant hear you i cant hear you lalalalalal"

This is OK. If you plodded through your English course and ended up taking some sort of Arts degree you might end up edged into a career for which you have no aptitude or interest.

He wasn't racist at all for any time and I don't know why you are so superior to Shakespeare when you produce nothing but nonsense.

If you mean "banned" rather than "band":

No, since Shakepseare didn't write any novels.

If you mean his plays, then none of them were racist at the time they were written, if you try to systematically re-write history to conform to today's standards then how will people ever learn about the chances in society?
