Jehovah's Witnesses since you believe that Jehovah created Jesus, did he create a god?

Apparently they believe that Jehovah created Jesus as a spirit creature (Michael the Archangel). In their New World Translation they say (in John 1:1) that this spirit creature is "a god."
In response to "Call me Gary" who thinks "a god just means greater than humans" and that "angels can be likened to a god as well" please be aware that the Bible says the pre-mortal Jesus was GOD, not "a god." Hebrews chapter one proves Jesus was not created as an angel:
"For to which of the angels did God ever say, 'You are my Son; today I have become your Father'? Or again, 'I will be his Father, and he will be my Son'? To which of the angels did God ever say, 'Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet?' Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?"
And Hebrews 1:6 says "Let all God's angels worship him" = JESUS. The angels worship Jesus, not because he was created as a spirit creature but because he was there, in the beginning with God and he IS GOD. Through him, everything that came into being was created. Jesus created all the angels.
If Jesus is not God, then it would be blasphemy to worship him because no created angel would ever accept worship. But when Thomas fell down and cried, "My Lord and my God" Jesus did not rebuke him. Why? Because Jesus is God, not "a god."
Believing that Jesus was created as a spirit creature means that Jehovah's Witnesses can't worship him. But since Jesus is part of the One Being of God then Christians MUST worship Him. God says there is no other god besides me, and that is why Jesus can never be described as "a god." Jesus is no created spirit angel - he is the Word of God, the Son of God, the Messiah, the Christ, our Saviour and our Redeemer and because he is part of the One Being of God then we worship him and pray to him just as we do to the Father. The name of Jesus is the highest name under heaven and on earth. His name is the name by which we are saved. No created angel could save anybody. No mere "god" or created angel could have taken away the sins of the world and paid the price of sin. Only God, in Jesus, could have done that.
So that's why Christians worship the Father and the Son because they are both part of the One Being who is God/

I asked this question to an elder 12 years ago, I watched him become very uncomfortable and he (as most of them do) went off into robot mode and gave a big story going up and down and around the question. I just wanted a straight up 'Yes' or 'No' but he couldn't do it, he had to go on and on about other things and then I realised he was not going to answer the question at all.
As you can see, a fellow JW here did exactly that

OUR READERS ASK . . .
Who Made God?
Picture a father talking with his seven-year-old son. He says, “Long, long ago, God made the earth and everything in it, and he made the sun, the moon, and the stars.” The boy thinks about this for a few moments and then asks, “Daddy, who made God?”
“Nobody made God,” the father replies. “He has always existed.” That simple statement satisfies the child for now. As he grows older, however, the question continues to intrigue him. He finds it hard to comprehend how anyone could be without a beginning. Why, even the universe had a beginning. ‘Where did God come from?’ he wonders.
How does the Bible answer? Essentially, in much the same way as did the father in our example. Moses wrote: “O Jehovah, . . . before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the productive land, from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.” (Psalm 90:1, 2) Likewise, the prophet Isaiah exclaimed: “Do you not know? Have you not heard? Jehovah, the Creator of the ends of the earth, is a God for all eternity”! (Isaiah 40:28) Similarly, the letter of Jude refers to God as existing “for all past eternity.”—Jude 25.
Those scriptures show us that God is “the King of eternity,” as the apostle Paul describes him. (1 Timothy 1:17) This means that God has always existed, no matter how far back in time we cast our gaze. And he will always exist in the future. (Revelation 1:8) Thus, his eternal existence is a fundamental attribute of the Almighty.
Why do we find this idea difficult to grasp? Because our limited life span gives us a completely different concept of time from that of Jehovah. Because God is eternal, to him a thousand years are like a day. (2 Peter 3:8) To illustrate: Could a grasshopper, which lives as an adult for only about 50 days, fathom our life span of 70 or 80 years? Hardly! Yet, the Bible explains that we are like grasshoppers in comparison with our Grand Creator. Even our ability to reason is dwarfed by his. (Isaiah 40:22; 55:8, 9) So it is not surprising that there are aspects of Jehovah’s nature that escape full human understanding.
Although the concept of an eternal God may be hard to grasp, we can see that it makes sense. If someone else had created God, that person would be the Creator. Yet, as the Bible explains, Jehovah is the one who “created all things.” (Revelation 4:11) Furthermore, we know that the universe at one time did not exist. (Genesis 1:1, 2) Where did it come from? Its Creator had to exist first. He also existed before there were any other intelligent beings, such as his only-begotten Son and the angels. (Job 38:4, 7; Colossians 1:15) Clearly, then, he existed alone first. He could not have been created; nothing was in existence that could have created him.
Our own existence and that of the entire universe testifies to the existence of an eternal God. The One who put our vast universe in motion, the One who established the laws to control it, must have always existed. Only he could have breathed life into everything else.—Job 33:4.

The bible at Isaiah 9:6 states," For a child has been born to us, And the rulership will rest on his shoulders. His name will be called wonderful Counselor,Mighty God,Eternal Father,Prince of Peace." A prince is the son of a king, the king is Jehovah the most high over all the earth.Psalm 83:18. Jesus is a mighty and has the quality of mightiest, but he is not the Almighty God.

Apparently, that's what they believe. And they believe Jesus is the Archangel Michael so their version of Galatians 2:20 is, "I have been crucified with the Archangel Michael and I no longer live, but the Archangel Michael lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Archangel Michael, who loved me and gave himself for me."

Yes, that is exactly what they believe. Too bad it is against scripture and a false doctrine.
Isa. 43:10; 45:5, etc.

hi there
yes that is what they are told to believe
in spite of the fact that the in very scripture that Rutherford stole their name from, god says "Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me" Isaiah 43:10
I know jws are good at mental gymnastics, but that one is a doozy

Edit to BS:
Thank you for you kind loving christian comment.
As to your claim of ignorance on my part, that is an mistaken opinion based upon your bias and prejudice against God's people.
Your scholars based upon the preconceived idea that Jesus is God, miss translate the Greek word for obeisance into worship when applied to Jesus, then you blindly follow that reading and say: "See Jesus was worshiped"
This is false circular reasoning, creating a vortex sucking you down into the darkness of untruth.

1) to kiss the hand to (towards) one, in token of reverence
2) among the Orientals, especially the Persians, to fall upon the knees and touch the ground with the forehead as an expression of profound reverence
3) in the NT by kneeling or prostration to do homage (to one) or make obeisance, whether in order to express respect or to make supplication
3a) used of homage shown to men and beings of superior rank
3a1) to the Jewish high priests
3a2) to God
3a3) to Christ
3a4) to heavenly beings
3a5) to demons
Did you notice that the word means 'obeisance' (#3) as used in the New Testament?
Why didn't Jesus tell Satan, 'It is to me you should worship and to me alone should you serve.'? (Matt 4:8-10)
Why would Satan ask God to worship him? Why would Satan offer God all the kingdoms of the earth?
Why because Jesus wasn't God, Jesus wanted to worship the only true God.
Why because Jesus isn't God, but God's representative, the sent to do not his own will, but the will of him that sent him. (John 17:3; John 5:19, 30)
Why someone would make Jesus a false god by worshiping him, is truly amazing, showing a total lack of bible knowledge and a misunderstanding of who God and Jesus are.
My prayer for you is the same as Paul's.
Eph 1:16 making mention of you in my prayers; 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened,

spoken of the only and true God

his counsels, interests, things due to him
whatever can in any respect be likened unto God, or resemble him in any way

In the bible the title god was given to many.
Ps 82:6 Jehovah calls human judges 'gods'
Ex 7:1 Moses is call a God to Pharaoh
Paul tells us that there are those who are called gods, even as there are
many gods in heaven.
Yet for Christians only the Father is God.
(1 Corinthians 8:5, 6) . . .just as there are many “gods” and many “lords,” 6 there is actually to us one God, the Father,. . .
Jesus also tells us that the Father is the only true God.
Jesus only becomes a false god, if you worship him.
(John 4:23) 23 Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshippers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for indeed, the Father is looking for ones like these to worship him.
