Am I getting enough calories in my diet?

Breakfast Oatmeal with almonds and a banana with o.j. And water

Lunch Egg and ham sandwich with two slices of wheat bread with an apple and a banana

After I come home I would eat fish and rice with lettuce and water

Dinner Chicken with rice and lettuce with a "Boost" shake.

So am I getting enough or too much calories.

Depends on how active you are an big you are

If you are an active person like myself (competitive swimming 6 times a week) then you will definitly need to be taking in more calories, but if you think you are not hungry and a heathly weight and feel good then you should be healthy. However if you think you are slightly underweight then try to gradulaly eat more each day, stuff such as wholegrain bread and green vergetables (accompanyed with excersie will gain some nice muscle instead of fat ) and if you thin k you are overweight either get more active or cut the least healthy foods out of your life.

Join SparkPeople or download a calorie counting app. Spark people has and app and another good one is "Lose It". then just count calories day by day.

Spark people is the best option because they also count nutrients, vitamins and minerals. this is all info you need to create a healthy diet.

If you're losing weight - eat more! If not, don't worry.

It sounds a small to normal diet to me. Could add in some yogurt or milk and a couple biscuits at night?

Your body doesn't care about the number of calories you eat. Your body cares about having enough energy. The question you should ask is: Do i feel great? Do i have energy for my activities?

When it comes to food, quality is important as quantity.

sounds like a perfectly healthy diet with the right calories (assuming you eat adult portions and not just a spoonful of everything)
