Manufacturing in the U.S. is hamstrung by a long-accepted positioning of government viewing business as SATAN.
In Europe, a manufacturer is understood as a system that employs people and keeps the economy going. When the govt goes to enforce regulations or has a problem with a producer, they normally work as any two civil citizens of any nations should; and get the problem solved.
In the U.S., the govt rounds the troops, gathers its strength and marches to battle against SATAN!!!
I've had it happen. The city atty made it clear he was there to shut us down and that we should just walk away.
That is absolute madness!
Trump need do nothing beyond exposing just how stupid that is to reduce operating costs and improve compliance and efficiency among US producers.

You probably know the answer. Stitchers, weavers and clothing workers have always been low skilled labor. These truly are jobs Americans don't want. If there were better jobs and opportunities available they would take them. What keeps that from happening? Liberals.
