Been there plenty of times. We did a snorkel tour last Nov, and the water was very clear and free of crap. The water where the ships are actually in port is often crapped up, but you get a little bit away and it's very clean.

Taking a cruise there next week and want to know if it is safe for the kids. I know the drinking water is to be avoided, but didn't know about the ocean.
