Question

Me and my boyfriend have been dating for 6 years now. and he is on a wheelchair. He is not able to walk but he has can do many things so his condition is not that bad.  My family treats me like if I committed a crime being with him, but I feel like he is the best thing that's ever happen to me.  So my question is why should my family be so sensitive to my relationship?  Why can't they see that he makes me happy?  any advice?

Is their reasoning simply because hes in a wheel chair?

Maybe they are afraid his doodle doesn't doinkle anymore and that if you guys cant have wonderful schmoigle you will be childless. They could be dealing with the thoughts and fears of never having a grandchild.

Your Family should put your happiness first. I truly do not understand why they wouldn't. I would have a serious talk with them and explain how you feel. If they don't change, there is nothing you can do......follow your heart!

Some people won't support you when you need it the most. You have my support, your an amazing person, and they don't see that he makes you happy, but that doesn't matter as long as he DOES make you happy. BTW good luck with your relationship

ignore your family??? after all he is or should be your family now and if they cant accept you are happy with him that is their loss
