i need advice?

my mother and I have never gotten along, I noticed that she tends to say hurtful things to me every time we talk, and I've been told that she criticizes everything I do and say. I sometime feel that there is more to it. I feel that a mother who loves her children is always defending them and not condemning them. Am I over reacting.? any advice?

Some mothers say hurtful things, or criticize their child in order to teach them or protect them. This is very wrong, but the best thing you can do is to talk to her and tell her how much it hurts/bothers you when she does that.

Your mother is emotionally abusive. Avoid her as much as possible.

You need to tell her how you feel and be strait and upfront about it.
