Feminists, why do you think it is that Christina Hoff Sommers is loved by so many ANTI-feminists?

Clearly anti-feminists are not just seeing/hearing the word 'feminism' and thinking "Oh, I hate that!". So it would seem that there's some thinking going on in the anti-feminist brain (I am an anti-feminist before my fellow AF's think I'm slagging on them).

So you probably think it's just b/c she has 'internalized misogyny' and advocates for raping and torturing and enslaving and murdering women which is, so I'm told, what all anti-feminists must be about.

OK. Can you provide a link then to her saying something like this?

B/c all I see is a woman who likes facts, likes proof and thinks feminism should be about equality.

My biggest and only beef with her is that I think she's mislabeled herself since most feminists seem to be, in my eyes, sexists. Against both men and women.

Christina Hoff Sommers isn't a feminist. She's an MRA.

Christina Hoff Sommers credentials are suspect. She is associated with "American Enterprise Institute" which is actively opposing feminism.

She is also associated with "The Independent Women’s Forum "(IWF) is a politically conservative NGO, "founded by activist Rosalie Silberman to promote a “conservative alternative to feminist tenets” ."

So her professional association are anti-feminists and she has posted on A Voice for Men which is rabidly anti-feminist  - what is that about?

Most anti-feminists are anti-feminists because they believe in gender equality and oppose the way mainstream feminists advocate discrimination agent males.

When feminists like Hoff-Sommers make it clear they do not advocate discrimination against males, but are truly equal, then there is no reason to be against them.
