How come Republicans are called racist, when the Democrats insist it is PC to sort minorities along racial types. IE Asian-American.?

I'm Native American. I like to give credit to my two cultures. Ottawa and American. I'm more than just American, and I'm more than just Ottawa.

Edit: I don't consider it racist to be called Native American, because that is how I identify myself. I was raised on the rez, but I was also raised as an American. The racists are the ones who consider me to be "less than" them because I'm half and half.

Because anyone who's honest with themselves knows that racism isn't the kind people are thinking about when the word comes up. Yeah, it's technically racist to even mention race at all, but when people think of racism they think of the "that race is inferior, we should get rid of them all" variety.
