Why or why not?

No I buy my 3 year old daughter clothing that fits her. I want her to look nice and not like a child whose parents can't afford to buy her clothes that fit. Children grow fast and quickly outgrow clothing. If people can't afford to keep their child stocked with nice well fitting non worn out clothes then they should not have children!

Of course, simply because toddlers grow so fast and grow out of sizes long before clothes wear out. With a larger size they can get more than a few months of wear out of an outfit. Also toddlers need loose fitting clothes that allow them to move as freely as possible. Toddlers never sit still and are always on the go so their clothes should be as mobile as they are.

When I had a toddler, I never bought anything new. There were school sales, garage sales, and thrift stores. If I needed an outfit for a special occasion tomorrow, I bought the right size, but otherwise I bought one size bigger.

I would! It makes sense because you don't want to make them feel tight in their clothes and also because once they start growing, you can still wear them one them when you can. Kids grow fast so I would get a size bigger. Good luck!
