Yes and no. On the macro scale it would appear to. It's a reasonable working hypothesis to assume, for the purposes of existing and living your life, that it does.
On the quantum physics scale there's a probability that it might, or not, or just not at the moment. Ask Schrodingers' cat, but remember "curiosity was framed" for its murder!
