No, from what I understand, New York has what is called a "closed primary"---and that means that people have to vote the party with which they are registered. Independents are not allowed to vote for Republican or Democrat, if I understand the rules described by the mainstream media outlets (MSNBC and CNN). Hillary Clinton is the best qualified, most experienced, and most intelligent candidate in the race. She has more foreign policy experience than ALL of the other candidates COMBINED, and this was true even before anyone dropped out on the GOP side and there were 16 candidates. The news media has not done their job in defending against propaganda for the Clintons---and this failure has been ongoing for the past 25 years! I do hope the BEST CANDIDATE, Hillary Clinton, sweeps the NY primary!
Bernie has NO foreign policy experience, no experience managing a complex national budget in the context of an often treacherous and highly complicated global market or global economy, and in all his years in Congress Bernie has NEVER been able to get any of his socialist proposals passed, not even when the Democrats controlled both House and Senate! The old fart is 75 years old, people!

No, you had to switch to the Republican party last October at the latest. Naturally the Clinton Machine officials didnt tell people about it to keep people from voting for Bernie or Trump.

Not during the primaries, but during the general election you may vote for whomever you like.

Sorry but I doubt it since election is today. You would have needed to change your registration.

No; you would have had to have changed your party designation like six months ago.
