Someone owes me money?
A few weeks ago I babysat for someone and she said she'd pay me $30. Then I didn't have to babysit anymore so a few days later I told her I need to be paid. She didn't get back to me so I asked again the next day. She told me when she would get paid but when that day came she didn't pay me still. I asked her again today and she isn't responding again. I just want to know when I'm being paid but she won't reply and I need the money. What do I do?

You're out of luck. All you can to is continue to pester her, but it seems unlikely that she will ever give you the money. It isn't enough for you to go to court over and there is no way to compel her to pay you.

Get your parents involved.
Threaten to take her to Small Claims Court if she doesn't pay. If she doesn't then make sure you follow through with the threat. She'll end up paying you and paying court costs.

Why would you get paid? You didn't do the job. Or did you? You're saying you did and didn't do the job at the same time. She won't pay you if she cancelled on you. She should if you did the job.

Chalk it up to experience and never babysit for her again unless she pays in advance.
