2010 s seem like a remake of the 90 s? Yes or No?
In terms of music and fashion, the 2010 s seem like a remake of the 90 s which I really love because it brings back more of the old school things and that it just seems as if it is a remake of the 90 s does anyone else agree?

Everything is cyclical, including fashion. 20-30 years tends to be about right for a cycle to last. For instance, in the last decade, everything seemed to be a throwback to the 80s. The 90s themselves had a lot of 60s and 70s style.

It's a tradition for a decade to feature a revival of the decade that came twenty years previously. This is because the generation that came of age in the first one (in this case, the '90s) takes about twenty years to gain enough influence as executives and consumers to sell & buy stuff.
In the 1970s, there was nostalgia for the 1950s (e.g. "Grease" and "Happy Days"). In the 1980s, there was nostalgia for the 1960s (e.g. "The Big Chill" and oldies on the radio). In the 1990s, we had to endure the tackiness of 1970s fashion all over again (plus "That '70s Show" and "Grease", which itself was nostalgia for the previous cycle). In the last decade there was nostalgia for the '80s, and now the featured decade is the '90s. In the 2030s, there will be a revival of this decade.
