Why do small time actors wanted to become the lead and rise to the top in their career, if they claimed they never wanted fame?
This is just an out of curiosity question. I've watched some celebrity interviews online and at other places and there is this one thing that most, if not all these actors tend to say, "I never wanted to be famous. If actors don't get into acting for the fame. They do acting because they love it so much, then why do they complain about their lack of career progression, has toiled for many years in the entertainment industry and still have yet to achieve success! Although they had filmed in several tv series and films, but most of the roles they received were mainly minor roles and had never been given the opportunity to play heavier roles. If they really had never intended to pursue fame and fortune, then why are they so eager to gain recognition, make a name for themselves in the acting industry, rise to the top and achieve 1st lead status?

You've asked this before.
Wanting fame isn't the same thing as wanting to get bigger and better roles.
All actors would love to do that - go from tiny roles, up to medium supporting roles, and then hopefully some big roles and even some leads. The bigger roles are more interesting (usually) more challenging, better paid, and much more fun! That is totally different from wanting to be famous.

why do keep asking this question? I've never heard an actor say that except for the pissant little dreamers on here.. I've always been happy as hell to get casted in any stage show in any part, big or small...
So if you are NOT a real actor....don't ask a stupid question like this ever again, because you have no right to.
And...oh, yeah...be a man and post your BS where people can see who you are, you coward.
If you are not honest enough to own up to your statements, STFU

You've asked this question so may times already. What answer do you want?
Can't you just make an account and place an answer here which satisfies you and be done with it already?

In order to improve at something, you have to have ambition. Success is relative. You'd have to be somewhat of an exhibitionist anyway to be an actor.
