What is the title of the book about polygamous mormons moving to Utah set in the 1800's ?

I know it is out of print and I had read it in the 1980's. It is told from the first wife's perspective.And no i do not know the author.

I think it is called " Salt Lake !"

    Salt Lake is the name of the novel you are looking for.

    But you're better off reading the Book of Mormon.

    Um, well, let's see. It took me about 20 seconds to go to the Library of Congress catalog, look up books titled "Salt Lake," and find a novel published in 1982 called "Salt Lake" and classified as "Historical fiction, Western stories."
