Did David, through the Eternal Spirit, write of the Path of the Sun, known today as The Ecliptic,?
King David, through the Spirit of Truth, reveals that "It (the Sun) is like a strong man rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other end. Nothing is hidden from its heat." Also this passage reveals that the Sun has a "course".
"Their voice has gone out to all the earth and their words to the end of the world. In the heavens He pitched a tent for the sun. It is like a bridegroom coming out of his bridal chamber. It is like a strong man rejoicing to run his course.

Interestingly, the word "rises" is actually "motsa" and means the Sun's "going forth"... and we see that the sun's circuit is from one end of the heavens "to the other end."
Science has confirmed that the Sun indeed has a path of its own across the celestial sphere... and this Path of Sun is called "THE ECLIPTIC".
"That orbit lies in a plane, flat like a tabletop, called the plane of the ecliptic (or sometimes just "the ecliptic")" .
Speaking of "the going forth", or "מצא môtsâ' " of the Sun, this may also be a good picture of Christ's work before being manifested in the flesh as Jesus,
"And you, Bethlehem Ephratah, being least among the thousands of Judah, out of you He shall come forth to Me to become One ruling in Israel; and His goings forth have been from of old, from the days of eternity."

So... when God said, "Let there be Light".... or "Ore Hayah" = Light come into BEING,
or "Light go forth in Being".... there was two things activated, the WORD (Logos) of God (as the Pre-Incarnate Christ, who came every time "The Word of the Lord came unto"... whatever person the Lord was speaking to, and secondly "LIGHT" itself was "caused" to "shine out of darkness".... at any rate, when that "LIGHT" went forth it was a "goings forth"...
Before the Sun of the solar system was even established in the heavens... was the "going forth" of He whose goings forth are from of old "Antiquity"/ Ancient time", from the Days of Eternity. (Perhaps the Seven Foundational DaysEstablished as the Seven Pillars which hold up the House (Creation) which Wisdom built, and which Understanding established, and Knowledge has filled, as the waters cover the Seas, so the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord shall fill the earth! : )
"YHWH possessed me in the beginning of His way, from then, before His works. I was set up from everlasting, from that which was before the earth. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no springs heavy with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills, I was brought forth; before He had made the earth and the fields, or the highest part of the dust of the world...

Hear how Wisdom identifies as the One that "was there" and who was "brought forth"... similarly, Jesus spoke right when He identified Himself as "The LIGHT of the Cosmos"... refering back to "His going forth" ..."from the Days of Eternity"... and also why He could rightfully say, "before Abraham was, I AM"... He is the Incorruptible Seed of the Word of God, which LIVES and ABIDES!

The Ecliptic was known to Ancient cultures, thousands of years before the 10th century BC, "David"'s time.
FYI "King" David never existed as portrayed in the Bible.

In fact, the Sun does not move in The Ecliptic. "David" -- or whoever wrote stuff attributed to "David" did not know what he is talking about and neither do you.

Sorry a Greek gentleman proved the earth round, long before the legend of David was invented so your question is null. Research Eratosthenes and Pythagoras.
