Can you give me an example of a conversation you've had with someone from another country that has changed the way you think about something?

No. I have visited 58 countries and no one has ever said anything to me that I felt was life changing or a great revelation.

I don't know if I am typical or not, but I will say that I have always been very open minded and realistic about the way things are in that I am not the type that runs around wearing blinders.

Given the amount of thought that has gone into every thing in the west I cannot see that happening . I have read Chinese thought Indian basics as well and they all give to much power to those who rule . The East needs a renaissance not revolutions To some degree Taoism suggests the individual lives as simple as possible away from the state but they were wiped out by communism

Philosophically speaking. I recorded my conversation with the locals when I was in Mars and Jupiter recently. But I have kept them there in my newly constructed bungalow.

That is why elders used to say that "Philosophy" is a tough, difficult and confusing subject.
