MUSLIMS: Do you believe in the Prophets of the Old Testaments. If you do, then read the following from Proverbs 8:22-35?

22 The Lord (Allah) possessed me (was in him) in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.(before creation)

23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.(when there was no earth)

24 When there were no depths, (outer space) I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.

25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:

26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:

28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:

Update:

29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

32 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.

Update 2:

29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

32 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.

Update 3:

    Yes, Muslims do believe in the prophets of the Old Testament; they have a list of 28 whom they acclaim, including Adam, Enoch, Noah, Lot, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Elijah, Elisha, David, Solomon, Job, Jonah, Zachariah, Ezra, John the Baptist and Jesus.

    This means that they DO believe in Solomon, who wrote many of the OT Proverbs. However, a problem they have is that they attribute no sin to such prophets and they refuse to believe that some of those OT prophets did truly sinful things, so they won't accept the biblical account of Solomon's later years, when he fell away from the true faith, despite his wisdom.

    The Muslims claim that the messages given to the Jews by those prophets was later corrupted by others and so the OT record cannot be trusted. It must be 'filtered' through what the later Qu'ran says. However, you have more of a problem than that. If you insist that Proverbs 8:22-35 speaks of Jesus having been created by God under the title of 'Wisdom', you must tell us who 'Prudence' represents. After all, Prudence is equally spoken of as some kind of personification (vs 5). And who is "the woman Folly" (9:13)? What person was this actually? Don't you see the difficulties you run into when you isolate a few verses in an entire passage of scripture, saying those verses are a sort of 'code language' for Jesus being created, yet not applying that principle to the rest of the chapter?

    Anyway, if there was a time when God created Wisdom, are you seriously suggesting that there was a time when God was without His Wisdom? I'm afraid Muslims will no more accept your interpretation of Proverbs 8 than you refuse to accept the interpretation of John 1:1-14, that the Word (who became flesh as Jesus) is the uncreated creator of everything. Simple logic shows that if the Word made everything that was made, He could not be made Himself. Please think on those points.

    colossians 1:15 shows Jesus was the fathers first creation. why he could be called the second spirit person in the universe.
