Is it discrimination to preclude me from playing Martin Luther King, Jr. in a public school play?

Because public schools must allow men to use women's restrooms and I can't refer to my black counterparts as thugs anymore, why should the role of the greatest civil rights leader be limited to black actors?

You can and just did refer to black people as thugs. This fake persecution is BS. There is no such thing as PC. Feel free to use the N work as much as you want. Nobody will arrest you. Nothing prevents a white person from depicting Martin Luther King in a school play. In fact many white kids portray Martin Luther King in school plays.

I might be, but it is also common sense. A person portraying another, should look and act as closely as that person as possible. Just like a young asian female wouldn't be best suited to play the role of the incredible hulk. Sure its still discrimination, but its the right kind of discrimination.

How about if you use some discrimination before posting rhetorical questions?

Only if you believe the appropriation of another gender makes you another person.
