i'd like to know why do people with dogs let the dog lick them in the mouth?

I have an uncle who's a doctor. He told us that dog's mouth is cleaner than a human's mouth. ('Even when they lick their butts?' I asked. 'Yes!' he said.) In terms of germs or whatever, it's safer to be licked in the mouth by a dog than to kiss someone. So I don't worry about it.

What's it to ya? Their dog, not yours.

You can't exactly turn to YA with a question like this, we CANNOT speak for the people who let this happen. Instead of asking us, why not ask the people you see allowing it?

Not every dog owner does that and it isn't really right for you to lump all of us together like that.

You have to ask the stupid owners i'm afraid you might do better to limit your question to them therefore

because they don't see (or choose to ignore) when the dog licks his ***

Because they can't find a lover to do it.

Because those people think their dog is their baby.

It IS disgusting & totally unhygienic , then they moan about having infections etc , good god ! all dogs lick their butts & sniff around each other& their environment .

People are emotional and they think their dog is their baby so they should give him a baby treatment. Honestly, I find it gross and immature.
