What did nehru do different from ghandi to improve india?

I want to know what are the things that nahru do for india that ghandi did not do and what makes nehru more different thank ghandi.

    Gandhi was a universalist who preached love and peace, and a nationalist last. Nehru was a nationalist first who believed in a strong India through militarism and socialism.
